What types of eye examinations are available at Visilab?
At Visilab, our opticians can use 4 different tests and examinations to check your eyesight, depending on your needs and expectations:
How do I make an appointment online?
To make an appointment online, click here and follow the steps below:
1. Choose the type of appointment from the 4 suggestions.
2. Choose the store where you want to make the appointment.
3. Select the time slot for your appointment.
4. Log in if you have a MyVisilab account, so that your details will be completed automatically. If you do not have a MyVisilab account, fill in your details in the required fields.
After making an appointment on visilab.ch, you will rapidly receive a confirmation e-mail.
How do I change the date of my appointment?
To change the date of your appointment, we suggest you contact the store you made the appointment for. The contact details are available in the appointment confirmation e-mail you received or on the webpage of your store.
It is not possible to change the date of your appointment online.
How do I change the type of appointment?
To change the type of appointment, we suggest you contact the store you made the appointment for. The contact details are available in the appointment confirmation e-mail you received or on the webpage for your store.
It is not possible to change the type of appointment online.
How do I cancel my appointment?
If you have a MyVisilab account, you can cancel your appointment online by logging in to your personal account. In the “Home” section, you will find a box that says, “My next appointment”. Click on the “Cancel my appointment” button.
Your appointment has now been cancelled. You will shortly receive a confirmation e-mail.
If you do not have a MyVisilab account, we suggest that you contact the store you made the appointment for. The contact details are available in the appointment confirmation e-mail you received or on the webpage for your store.
How should I prepare/what should I bring to my appointment?
This varies according to the type of appointment selected, i.e.:
- Eye examination: if you wear contact lenses, please remove them before your eye examination.
- Driving licence eye test: it is important to bring the completed learner’s permit (from your canton of residence), an official identification document and your contact lenses or glasses, if you wear them.
- Contact lens check-up: if you already wear contact lenses, please put them in for the appointment and bring the original packaging.
- Eyewear advice: please bring a recent prescription, so that we can see what type of correction you need.
