Their qualifications
Visilab has chosen to work exclusively with qualified opticians in order to offer you the best possible service and expertise. All our opticians are certified and trained to provide you with customised advice when it comes to optical equipment and facial morphology.
The federal certificate of proficiency as an optician (CFC) is obtained after a 3-year apprenticeship. It is then possible to undertake a further 3-year course of study to obtain a Bachelor of Science HES in optometry. Optometrists are qualified to perform eye examinations and to fit contact lenses.
In this regard, all Visilab stores have rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology to perform eye exams and contact lens fitting.

This enables them to advise you on the most suitable prescription lenses and frames. Our expert opticians are also trained to give advice on style. They can suggest equipment that is adapted to your lifestyle, your morphology, and the latest trends.
What is more, they take digital measurements to make sure that your lenses are perfectly centred in relation to the position of your pupils. This helps to guarantee optimal visual comfort. Once the frame has been fitted with the lenses, our expert opticians will adjust your new eyeglasses precisely to your face.
We offer these services to each and every Visilab customer. We also provide all the necessary maintenance for eyeglasses purchased from our stores throughout their lifetime: replacement of inserts, screws and sleeves, ultrasonic cleaning and frame repairs.
